The journey to war starts here. In this room begin the Deeds of Henry the V, a dramatisation of the lives of medieval Hampshire people. See how the Baker’s Wife, the Merchant’s Wife and their faimily come to terms with the disruption to Southampton and their personal lives as their children go off to war in France.

A local Friar gives account of the construction of the war fleet and counts the cost not only in financial terms, but in the lives of those who dare stand against the King in the Southampton Plot, shortly before this historic battle of Agincourt takes it’s place in History.
